
Kyrgyzstan and Russia signed an agreement funding US $ 500 million, which will benefit both the countries in textile industry and other areas. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev stated that his country has been gearing up in preparation for joining the Customs Union, which groups Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, and the Eurasia Economic Union, the fund will be helpful to promote the economy of Kyrgyzstan and help it adapt well in the integration process of Eurasia. Earlier this year, leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus signed the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), which will take effect from January 1, 2015.
