
A major player in the work wear segment, Jiwanram Sheoduttrai Industries Private Limited (JSIPL) is expanding in this financial year both in garments, leather gloves and accessories with an investment of Rs. 40 crore. The company expects to more than double its turnover in the garmenting segment with the implementation of the new manufacturing facility. “Our last year garment turnover was Rs. 30 crore, this year we are targeting to achieve Rs. 72 crore. In leather gloves, goods and accessories the turnover was Rs. 80 crore last financial, this year we are targeting to achieve Rs. 150 crore,” says Alok Prakash, Director, JSIPL.
The company has made a mark in the global scenario and is a pioneer in Indian innovating multi-functional safetywear to conform to the AUS/NZ, ASTM, ANSI, NFPA, EN & IS norms that globally standardize the multi-protective capability garments. “As a result of our dynamic global network with the specialized textile mills and leather processing units, we are equipped to create effective multiple levels of protection based on wide range of safetywear fabrics and leathers to guard against such industrial and occupational hazards as fire, static build up, chemical splash, low visibility, water, oil, dust etc.,” says Prakash.

In the field of manufacture of gloves JSIPL has very effectively combined craftsmanship and consistency and all products in these fields are tested against abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture.
