Another big threat comes up for Bangladesh apparel export industry as Jamaat-e-Islami is planning to create unrest in apparel export industry ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha. In Dhaka, Police have arrested 13 Jamaat leaders and activists with handmade bombs, including former MPs Mia Golam Parawar and Mojibur Rahman. Police have said that Jamaat leaders were planning to use a garment factory’s workers not being paid salaries and bonus ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha as a ploy to create unrest.
Cops have said that they will find out which garment factory they had targeted and who else are involved.
