India’s industrial production growth slowed down by 1.7 per cent in December 2014, after growing by 3.8 per cent in the previous month, as per the statistics released by the Central Statistics Office of the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation. However, 13 of the 22 industry groups in the manufacturing sector have showed positive growth during December 2014 as compared to the same month in the previous year. Apparel and fur dyeing sector finished second among those 13 sectors with a growth of 17.6 per cent.
