Group Dynamite, a Canada-based clothing company with 300 stores worldwide has recently distributed over 1,40,000 items of clothing to children and teenagers across the country. The clothes donation worth of US $ 1 million was made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters agency which is a community-based youth mentoring organization that takes care of 43,000 youngsters in the country. The apparel items were collected from Dynamite and Garage store locations across Canada and USA and distributed through the agency network across both countries. “We wanted to make sure that our donation gets distributed through a well-established organization like theirs across the whole Canada and USA, so we chose Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies as they have a large network,” says Anna Martini, President, Groupe Dynamite.
