Faruque Hassan, the President of BGMEA, which is the apex garment makers’ body in Bangladesh, recently inaugurated the digital ‘BGMEA Membership Management System’ or MSS.
Media reports maintained this while adding speaking at the inauguration event, the BGMEA President underlined the garment makers’ body has launched the system to evolve with the available technologies to keep pace with the changes and remain competitive in the global market, while also digitise services for its members, including workers’ biometric database and UD automation to ensure quick, efficient and smooth services to all member factories so as to enable bring billions of dollars for the country as export earnings.
“…all these initiatives are in line with the Government’s vision of Digital Bangladesh…,”further, reportedly, added the BGMEA chair at the event.
