
After around eight-day Eid-ul-Azha holidays, imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of imported goods resumed from 16 July morning at Hili Land Port (HLP) in Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur in Bangladesh.
Media reports maintained this citing the concerned officials.
After unloading the Indian freight trucks, local trucks started loading and leaving the land port for different parts of Bangladesh with imported consignments from 16 July afternoon, reportedly, claimed the General Secretary of the Customs, Clearing and Forwarding Agents Association of HLP Jamil Hossain Cholonto even as Officer-in-Charge of the immigration check post (ICP) at HLP Md Bodiuzzaman on his part, reportedly, added the movement of passport-visa holder citizens remained normal through the ICP during the period despite the closure of import and export activities.
