An entity from Netherlands, Checkpoint System Bangladesh Limited-Unit 2, is going to establish an apparel accessories manufacturing unit in an Economic Zone of the Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA) at an investment of US $ 10.52 million.
According to a press communiqué issued in this regard, the company concerned will, reportedly, produce annually 1,319 million units of different types of stickers, hang tags, tickets and labels, while also providing employment opportunity to around 274 Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement to this direction was signed recently between the parties concerned (Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA and Checkpoint System Bangladesh Limited-Unit 2) at capital Dhaka’s BEPZA Complex.
