
To facilitate uninterrupted export and import activities, all customs houses and customs stations in Bangladesh will remain open during the Eid holidays.
Media reports maintained this adding the country’s National Board of Revenue (NBR) has sent letter to all customs houses and customs stations in this regard even if the apex garment makers’ body in the country, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), earlier on 12 April, wrote to the NBR requesting it to keep open the custom houses and customs stations.
Meanwhile, the NBR in its letter to the customs houses and station, reportedly, added even if not completely, these offices should be kept open to a limited extent from 29 April to 4 May (except Eid days) on public holidays.
