Bangladesh Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has called for increased US investment in Bangladesh even as he maintained US investors will be benefited if they invest in the country’s special economic zone while adding US is a major market for Bangladesh’s garment exports.
Media reports maintained this adding Tipu Munshi made the observations during his recent meeting with US Ambassador Peter Haas.
The Commerce Minister further, reportedly, maintained for the sustainable development of the readymade garments sector, Bangladesh Government has amended the Labour Law and made it world class even if the factories have been made safe and work friendly.
