Checkpoint Systems Inc, a RFID solutions provider for the retail industry registered the highest gross profit in the last ten years in the third fiscal quarter of 2014. The gross profit margin at the company expanded 390 basis points to 44.2 per cent in the third fiscal quarter that ended on September 28, 2014 from 40.3 per cent for the third fiscal quarter of 2013.George Babich, CEO ofCheckpoint said, “Gross profit margins were higher, driven by continued manufacturing cost reductions, benefits of Project LEAN and manufacturing and supply chain efficiencies.”
