The 7th Bangladesh International Garment & Textile Machinery Expo (BIGTEX) 2023 is set to take place in Dhaka from 26th-28th October.
In an important development, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has partnered with Redcarpet Global Ltd., to support the event.
In this direction, a meeting was held between BGMEA President Faruque Hassan and the organising committee of the event led by Redcarpet Global’s CEO Ahmed Imtiaz, who discussed strategies for a successful cooperation and smooth execution of the expo.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, BGMEA acknowledged their role as an association partner in the highly anticipated 7th BIGTEX even as it extended appreciation to the organisers for recognising BGMEA’s significant contributions and inviting them to participate in this prestigious exhibition.
BIGTEX encompasses three concurrent exhibitions, namely the Bangladesh International Fabric & Yarn Expo, Bangladesh International Dyes, Pigments and Chemicals Expo, and Bangladesh International Printing, Packaging and Signage Expo.
BIGTEX, it may be mentioned here, serves as a connection hub for manufacturers, dealers, suppliers, and importers of garment and textile machinery, equipment, technology, and accessories from both domestic and international markets. The concurrent exhibitions focus on crucial aspects such as yarn, fabric, trims and accessories, dyes, pigments, chemicals, printing, packaging, and signage industries.
According to Ahmed, the expo is expected to host approximately 200 stalls featuring products from at least 12 countries, including Asia and Europe. The event promises to be a significant gathering that will foster collaboration, showcase cutting-edge technologies, and facilitate business opportunities in the garment and textile sector.
