BGMEA, Eastern Bank in association with VISA launches co-branded credit cards

The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), which is the apex body of Bangladesh’s garment manufacturers along with the Eastern Bank Limited, in association with VISA has recently launched co-branded credit cards, which will provide financial solutions to the BGMEA employees and those of the member organisations with a safer and more convenient payment option.

This is as per reports, which added the co-branded credit cards will be available in two variants, Signature and Platinum and will come with benefits like complimentary access to the EBL Skylounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (in Dhaka) and Shah Amanat International Airport in the port city of Chittagong besides many other facilities.

Speaking at the launch event, BGMEA President Faruque Hassan opined BGMEA’s collaboration with the EBL has always been strong.

“And we are excited to expand it with this new offering,” maintained the BGMEA chair even as the Managing Director and CEO of EBL Ali Reza Iftekhar on his part reportedly said this endeavour will make transactions through cards within and beyond the country (Bangladesh), hassle-free and seamless.
