The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has requested the foreign envoys serving in Bangladesh to tell positive developments and stories about the Bangladesh garment industry to relevant stakeholders in their countries.
According to media reports, this was underlined in a press communique issued by the garment makers’ body in this regard.
The BGMEA further also sought support to seize the garment sector’s untapped potentials while underlining Bangladesh RMG sector has every prospect of remaining a preferred sourcing destination globally and continue its impressive growth story.
BGMEA President Faruque Hassan maintained this while addressing the foreign diplomats at an event organised by the garment makers’ body for them in Dhaka recently.
