With the aim to attract foreign investors and non-resident Bangladeshis to invest in the country, a 10-day-long road show has kickstarted in USA recently.
As per media reports, titled, ‘The Rise of Bengal Tiger’, the road show, which is organised by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission or BSEC to showcase the strength and opportunities of business and investment in Bangladesh for foreign investors while also highlight the potential of the country’s (Bangladesh’s) economy, trade, investment, products and services, the stock market and the bond market, started on 26 July.
Apart from New York, the event is supposed to be held in three more important cities, namely San Francisco, Washington DC and Los Angeles.
Reports further added that the Investors Conference is scheduled to be held on 30 July at the Los Angeles-based Hotel Intercontinental and there will also be an afternoon summit to be participated by the potential investors of the region apart from the high-level delegates from the USA as well as Bangladesh.
