
Bangladesh-based Far East Knitting & Dyeing Industries Limited posted more than 40 per cent higher profit in the last financial year.
This is as per reports which added the textile maker made a profit of Taka 22.74 crore in 2021-22 compared to what was Taka 16.18 crore a year earlier even as the company reported earnings per share of Taka 1.04 for 2021-22, which was Taka 0.74 the previous financial year.
It may be mentioned here that established in 1994, Far East Knitting has progressed from a small garments manufacturing plant to a composite textile manufacturer and specialises in high-fashion knitted tops besides offering a wide range of fabrics while exporting its product offerings to countries such as Japan, Singapore, Korea and Australia.
