Organised by Denim Expert Ltd, a Bangladesh-Netherlands joint venture operating in the Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone Bangladesh Denim expo will take place in Dhaka on 11th – 12th November. Mostafiz Uddin, MD of Denim Expert Ltd informed that the expo’s objective is to showcase Bangladesh’s growth potential in the denim industry. The new show is an exclusive event for authorised trade visitors, and will also feature a seminar focusing on new trends, finishes and the latest washes, along with these various workshops will also be held. It is worth to mention that Bangladesh have 25 denim fabric manufacturers producing 20 million yards of denim fabric a month and it is the world’s second largest producer of denim , shipping more than 185 million pieces of denim jeans around the world and earning around US $ 600 million per year from denim exports.
