
Avery Dennison Corporation, global leader in labelling and packaging materials and solutions, recently declared initial, unaudited results for the second quarter ended July 2, 2016. The company reported net sales of US $ 1.54 billion, up 2 per cent. The non- GAAP organic sales increased by approx. 4 per cent in the reporting quarter.
Content with the progress, Mitch Butier, Avery Dennison, President and CEO states, “In this quarter earnings amidst challenging apparel market conditions, RBIS earnings came in as expected. PSM delivered incomparable profitability which reflects strong organic growth and productivity gains in the emerging markets.” The company is confident that the steady execution of strategies will enable them to achieve long-term goals for superior value creation. “We have raised our outlook for full year earnings per share, reflecting the strong operating performance in the second quarter,” adds Butier.
