
In a bid to boost economic ties between Bangladesh and Vietnam, President of Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid, has made an official call on Vietnamese investors to explore opportunities in various sectors of the Bangladeshi economy.
The announcement comes as part of the President’s ongoing efforts to attract foreign investment and promote bilateral trade relations.
President Hamid highlighted the numerous investment opportunities available in Bangladesh, particularly in sectors such as garments and textiles along with information technology, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure development, and renewable energy.
He emphasised the country’s strategic location, skilled workforce, and investor-friendly policies as key factors that make Bangladesh an attractive destination for foreign investors.
During the call, President Hamid also expressed his Government’s commitment to providing necessary support and facilitation for Vietnamese investors interested in establishing businesses or partnering with local enterprises even as he assured them of conducive business environment, streamlined regulatory procedures, and competitive incentives.
