At least 20 big business entities in Bangladesh– including some big textile manufacturers– have got a go ahead for US $ 326 million foreign loan for expansion.

Reports maintained this adding most business entities that got the go-ahead for external loans are into spinning and textile manufacturing, while others are from food processing steel, power, plastics and ceramics sectors.

Amongst the renowned names in this direction are BEXIMCO and Envoy Group.

“We have taken initiatives to modernise and expand the existing units with the external loan and increase exports,” reportedly, maintained Managing Director of Envoy Group Abdus Salam Murshedy who went on to add Envoy Group, which has all facilities from spinning to yarn dyeing to fabrics, has been getting increased work orders.
