Noida-based Washerman Textile Processing House (a unit of Quick Net Pack), an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, is here with a one-stop solution for denim requirements.
The company will install a solar power plant and expand its washing capacity by 1.5 times in the next six months. Initially, the solar plant will have a capacity of 150 kW, which will be later enhanced.
It is also pertinent to mention that the plant is completely using natural gas and contributing to reducing the carbon footprint.
Having washing capacity of 3 lakh pieces per month, Pranay Goel, Director of the company, told Apparel Resources, “We have noticed that more orders are coming to Indian export houses, and so our business is also growing. We have a complete scope of expansion and overall we are investing Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 1 crore in solar and capacity enhancement.”
We have a very competitive price system to have minimal impact of the increased cost on our client. Our sharing system works on the size of the orders, our clients support us with large size of order and we offer them reasonable costing. It is a win-win for all of us as we imbibe 10 per cent of increased costing and ask them 5 per cent to bear with us. Export houses feel comfortable on this.
He added that nowadays maximum exporters and overseas buyers are looking for sulphur dye acid wash on knits as they have switched from cold pigment to various sulphur dye acid wash effects. The overall vintage look is required.
The Sedex-approved process house is also certified by prestigious brands and retailers like C&A, Inditex and S. Oliver.
Apart from serving the leading exporters, the company is also working for retail giants and brands like Pantaloons, Flying Machines and Max.
“We offer cold pigment wash, denim and non-denim wash, enzyme, bio & silicon wash and shrinkage control of fabrics,” says Pranay.
The company is also into manufacturing around 1,000 pieces of jeans and denim jackets per day.
