Sustainable brand Virgio has been awarded ‘Company of the Year’ at PETA India’s Vegan Fashion Award 2024. This prestigious annual award honors brands that make a notable impact on animal-friendly fashion by promoting vegan products, leading ethical design innovation, and encouraging compassionate consumer choices.
Amar Nagaram, CEO and co-founder, Virgio said that the company is committed to creating cruelty-free and sustainable fashion and breaking the harmful cycle of production.
The products are designed keeping in mind their entire lifecycle while creating a closed-loop system that minimises waste and maximises resource efficiency. The company has stood out in offering stylish, eco-friendly options for today’s consumers, aligning with PETA’s mission to eliminate animal exploitation within the fashion industry, said the company in a release.
