Solaric Limited, a renewable energy company, has signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) agreement with Sweatertech Ltd., a knitwear manufacturer, for the installation of a 532.35 kWp rooftop solar power plant in Gazipur.
The project, which will be located at Sweatertech’s facility on Gacha Road, Gazipur, marks another step in Solaric’s efforts to support sustainable industrial development and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions in the country.
The rooftop solar installation is expected to help reduce energy costs, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to greener manufacturing practices through the use of clean and reliable solar power.
Under the OpEx model, industries can install solar power systems without making large upfront investments, enabling manufacturers to access clean energy in a cost effective and efficient manner.
Solaric stated that the project reflects the growing interest among industrial enterprises in adopting renewable energy solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce dependence on conventional power sources.
