Knowell has been associated with Poli Tape, Germany, one of the leading manufacturers for textile decoration films since the past 15 years. And as its dealer, Knowell promoted the textile decoration films in the exhibition which offers a faster and easier way to print in variety of products.
“This is the film on which you can print, cut and then transfer it to the fabric and all of this is a very quick procedure. It doesn’t require a lot of steps and the end-product is available to you in 5 minutes if you have a ready design and garment,“ Kedar Dighaskar of Knowell explained.
“Our material is totally non-toxic so we can even put it on a baby garment and inner wear. It doesn’t have any heavy metals or lead. It is not harmful to the skin or the environment and it has a very good wash quality, so even after 50 washes, the T-shirt tends to fade a little bit but the print does not,” he further added.
A low investment industry, it is also quite cost-effective for small jobs. So one need not go into mass production to reap cost benefits out of this technology.
According to Chintan Mehta of Knowell, “The market has undergone a lot of transformation as far as customization is concerned. In today’s time, each and every sports person has to have his customized T-shirt, the branding, the name, the number. So individualization is the key and that is where Knowell comes into picture.”
These films can be used for a vast variety of fabrics ranging from cotton, spandex, polyester, cotton polyester blends to nylon and these are also applicable for leather and shoe industry.
