In an effort to promote environmentally conscious business practices and sustainable operations, Indo Count Industries Ltd. (ICIL) has announced the opening of its solar power generating plant. The 9.3 MW installed capacity of ICIL’s solar power producing station is located in Arniwada-Banaskantha, Gujarat.At its Bhilad facility, ICIL’s new solar power unit is intended for captive use. ICIL hopes to minimise energy expenses while also lessening its carbon footprint by utilising solar energy. ICIL’s commitment to renewable energy is demonstrated by this calculated step, since over 90% of the Bhilad unit’s operations are fueled by renewable energy.
