
Australia speciality fibre manufacturer, Lenzing has announced to launch Veocel, its new nonwoven brand at the ongoing 4-day World of Wipes (WOW) event in Chicago, USA.
Veocel provides the industry with clean and safe certified fibres that are biodegradable and manufactured in an environmentally responsible production operation.
It is pertinent to mention here that Veocel cellulosic fibres cause no harm to the environment and even keep the water clean during its production.
The latest introduction by Lenzing (Veocel) offers a varied range of applications for daily use which include baby care, body care, intimate care and surface cleaning that are categorised ino brand’s offerings; Veocel Beauty, Veocel Body, Veocel Intimate and Veocel Surface.
The launch of VEOSEL is an important for the Australia company to expand its business from business-to-business (B2B) to business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C).
Robert Van De Kerkhof, CCO, Lenzing Group said that guided by the company’s sCore TEN strategy, this brand launch will enhance the shift towards a speciality fibre business that aims to innovate while keeping the quality and sustainability intact.
Markedly, Veocel fibres are made from sustainable wood sources from certified and controlled plantation. These fibres absorbs moisture and contribute to breathability.
Lenzing so far has 1,274 patent applications and holds patents of over 200 patent groups across 49 countries.
