The Eastman Machine Company recently got the ISO 9001:2015 certificate. The certification is said to be a result of company’s efforts towards continuous improvement approach.
It’s worth mentioning here that ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). The cutting technology pioneer Eastman acknowledged the importance of establishing a formal quality policy with well-defined and regularly reviewed processes and procedures.
Furthermore, earning ISO certification will now position the company even better to serve its global customer base. According to Eastman, the company’s internal quality policy has been documented to further solidify its commitment towards making its products meet, rather exceed, the requirements of its customers with the purpose to deliver defect-free products to them on time every time.
