In addition to using celebrity appearances to boost its used clothing line, socially conscious fashion house Dolce Vee wants to raise awareness on 5th June, World Environment Day.
“On World Environment Day, we are reminded of the profound impact our fashion choices have on the planet,” said Dolce Vee’s founder Komal Hiranandani in a press release.
By hosting pop-up interactive events with celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranbir Kapoor, and Shruti Hassan, among others, the brand hopes to raise awareness of pre-owned apparel. The brand wants to use celebrity influence to project a youthful, appealing image for used clothing.
Dolce Vee sells used apparel online under several brands, including Max Fashion, Miss Sixty, Zara, Atmosphere, Gia, and Diesel. The company also offers a large assortment of women’s ethnic clothing. According to its Facebook page, the company has collaborated with a variety of fashion lovers, including Isha Bhansali, Sophie Choudry, and Pooja Jambotkar, among others, to create carefully chosen wardrobe pieces.
