
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina recently instructed the concerned authorities to bring, at the earliest possible, all industrial workers in the country and their family members, under the coronavirus vaccination coverage even as she ordered to consider reducing the current two-month gap between two vaccination doses.
Media reports maintained this adding the Bangladesh Prime Minister gave these directives during a recent weekly cabinet meeting, chaired by her even as Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam briefed the media on the outcome of the meeting accordingly.
Underlining that around six crore more doses of vaccine from Sinopharm are supposed to be received by Bangladesh as per an agreement signed by the Health Ministry, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed the authorities concerned to vaccinate the workers quickly, reportedly, said the Cabinet Secretary.
