Cancelled Plans uses Jayanti Reddy’s textile waste to create capsule collection

Cancelled Plans, the sustainable clothing brand, has collaborated with the traditionalwear brand, Jayanti Reddy, for the creation of ‘Jayanti Reddy Ex Cancelled Plans’ collection.

The collection will be made using textile waste of the brand Jayanthi Reddy.

The designer’s zardosi waste will be collected from sweatshirt unit for the creation of brand’s logo embellished on sweaters. The casual sweaters are bold and gender-neutral and come in black and white with gold lettering.

Cancelled Plans was founded by Mallika Reddy in September 2019. The brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store and its clothing is made from materials ranging from pharmaceutical packaging material to industrial textile waste.

Reddy said that the idea from creating this brand was cancelling waste that goes into landfills and oceans and making a new plan with that.
