One of South Asia’s largest vertically integrated textile and garment companies, Bangladesh Export Import Company Limited (BEXIMCO), has partnered with FibreTrace — FibreTrace is considered the world leader in traceable fibre technology and helps trace and verify textile fibres from source to store, and beyond — to deliver complete supply chain traceability to its sustainable practices in Bangladesh and beyond.
As per a press communiqué issued in this direction, the partnership will witness FibreTrace pigment being applied to cotton, hemp, recycled polyester and recycled cotton fibre during the spinning process, and will be with the textile for life through use, reuse, recycle and reimagination.
“As Bangladesh’s leading innovative sustainable material supplier, we are excited to offer a range verified by trailblazing traceability technology FibreTrace,” underlined the CEO textile and Group Director of BEXIMCO, Syed Naved Husain.
BEXIMCO, which stands as the country’s largest conglomerate, is maintaining a strong presence among Bangladesh’s most prominent industry sectors, has a capacity to finish 350,000 yards of fabric per day and has a history of adopting innovative, intelligent fibres.
