Jack & Jones, one of Bestseller’s brands, will incorporate cotton from Pakistan-based Artistic Milliners’ first regenerative harvest into its denim collections.
As part of a comprehensive pilot study, Artistic Milliners is experimenting with regenerative agriculture to investigate more sustainable cotton production techniques.
In Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan, a regenerative agricultural pilot project is being carried out in close cooperation with the World Wildlife Fund-Pakistan, local government entities, and Artistic Milliners. The effort is a follow-up to Control Union’s RegenAgri certification process.
“By integrating regenerative practices in our supply chain, Artistic Milliners is investing in the future of our planet by mitigating environmental challenges posed by agriculture,” said CEO of Artistic Milliner’s, MR Murtaza Ahmed.
This partnership aims to be a great learning opportunity for applying restoration procedures, monitoring methods, and sustainable agricultural practises in addition to giving access to regenerative cotton.
