Well-known brands Jack & Jones and Vero Moda have worked together since 2008 to create select collections for Danish Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Their newest collection launches three new T-shirts including Spinnova fibers, setting Vero Moda’s first usage of this sustainable material.
These T-shirts, in red and white, are made of 65 per cent cotton, 30 per cent wood-based Spinnova, and 5 per cent elastane. This launch showcases a major achievement as the second wave of products from Spinnova and Suzano’s combined venture, Woodspin.
Associated with Bestseller’s sustainability initiative, Fashion FWD, the collection categorises materials with diminished environmental impact. The partnership with Spinnova highlights Bestseller’s pledge to including certified sustainable materials into their offerings.
Allan Jung Thorbøll, International Buying Manager at Jack & Jones, contemplates on their pioneering journey with Spinnova, intending to grow its use across their product lines.
Tuomas Oijala, CEO of Spinnova, praises Bestseller’s leadership in sustainable fashion, highlighting their joint efforts to lessen emissions and encourage climate-friendly practices in the industry.
Since their collaboration began in 2020, Spinnova and Bestseller have increasingly incorporated Spinnova fibers into consumer products. Jack & Jones led with trousers in 2022 and are now growing to include T-shirts in many colors starting April 2024.
