4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd, a concern of Team Group, which is a renowned conglomerate from Bangladesh specialising in apparel manufacturing, has joined the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action convened by the UN Climate Change as the first outwear manufacturing company of the world.
This was underlined in a Press Release shared by the company concerned with Apparel Resources.
“4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd is very much committed to sustainable production and it’s also one of the trendsetting companies in Bangladesh taking actions for low carbon apparel manufacturing,” underlined Abdullah Hil Rakib, Managing Director of Team Group, adding, “Bangladesh as you all know is one of the most vulnerable countries of the world to climate change. We joined the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action as we want to be a part of the solution to global warming and climate change, and collaborate with other key stakeholders to succeed in combatting the climate change.”
It may be mentioned here the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action recognises the crucial role that fashion plays on both sides of the climate equation; as a contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, and as a sector with multiple opportunities to reduce emissions while contributing to sustainable development.
