KGFabriks recently launched a B2B website where denim prints, denim dobbies, denim jacquards and Indigo stripes and checks could be viewed and samples ordered online. The website comes packed with visualization features which allows apparel manufacturers, merchandisers, fashion designers, costume designers to view the designs, see how the garment wash looks, and also how the garment wears on a model. This helps cut down conceptualizing time and also the initial sampling time by a couple of weeks. Launched with 500 initial designs in various categories the website will soon be stock 5,000-plus designs within 12 months, increasing choice and collection to its customers.
KGFabriks along with the website is launching design services for its customers with a backend design team, to work with customers as partners. Customers who like a design can directly order sample types listed on the website. The website and design service, with a few trial customers, has reported that fabric approval time has dropped from a typical 60-day cycle to 30-day cycle.
