
Vietnamese Labour Ministry and International Labour Organisation (ILO) will jointly inspect garment and textile enterprises across 12 provinces and cities n Vietnam to look into factories’ working conditions and training courses for workers. Statistics published by the Ministry of Labour, showed that more than 80 per cent of textile and garment factories inspected in 2014 violated policies about working duration, rest periods and other labour safety regulations. 360 garment and textile enterprises will be inspected this time for working hours, rest periods, salary, bodily protection, warning signs, fire prevention equipment and other tools to ensure safety for labourers.
