Noida based Elite International, catering to mainly UK buyers like – Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins, UK, Evans, Komodo, UK – is now looking at starting fashion accessories division by June this year, shared Anil K. Agarwal, Managing Director with Apparel Online. Any product category which accessorizes women would be sourced by the agency like ladies bags, purses, shoes, belts, scarves, stoles to mention a few.
“We specialize in ladies fashion garments. We are sourcing woven garments, leather garments and outerwear, sweaters, fine knits for both ladies and men. The garments are with a lot of detailing like value additions, heavy embellishments, sequin and bead hand work, with embroidery and prints,” shares Anil.
Elite’s latest product line is organic cotton and fair trade cotton garments – both in woven and knits. “We are certified by FLO-Cert Germany as a Fairtrade supplier. We have association with Chetna Farms for organic cotton and fair trade cotton and fair trade certified factories,” adds Anil.
Besides UK, the buying agency is also catering to a few buyers in the US and Sweden like Britt-Inger. Now the buying agency is looking at new countries with which it is already having negotiations like Italy, France and Holland. “The orders are in pipeline, once it starts rolling we’ll share who are those buyers,” remarked Anil who is now looking at good accessory suppliers who have very exclusive and creative designs.
