Century Textiles reported a profit of Rs 1.58 crore

BK Birla Group firm Century Textiles and Industries reported a profit of Rs 1.58 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013-14 fiscal. It had posted a loss of Rs. 29.19 crore in the October-December period of 2012-13 fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. Century Textiles’ total Q3, 2013-14 income stood at Rs. 1,639.33 crore, compared to Rs. 1,520.11 crore in the year-ago period. The company’s Q3 revenue from its textiles division was Rs. 410.60 crore, as against Rs. 380.84 crore in the same period of the last fiscal.
