BTMA re-elects President for 2017-18

Tapan Chowdhury, Chairman of Square Group, has been re-elected as the President of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association for 2017-18 at the recently held 33rd Annual General Meeting of the association in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Tapan is also the sponsor director of thirty different business establishments of the Square Group. He also took the office of Adviser of ministries of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Youth and Sports, Food and Disaster Management and Science and Technology under the regime of caretaker run government.

In another development, the trade body has also elected Mohammad Ali Khokon, Managing Director, Maksons Spinning Mills Ltd; Hossain Mehmood, Managing Director, Anwar Silk Mills Ltd; and Abdullah Al Mahmud, Chairman, Mahin Group, to the role of Vice President for the said period.
