
By the end of 2014, Arvind Mills plans to set up new manufacturing facilities outside Gujarat to bring people from various regions and set up a dormitory type of model to expand its existing manufacturing capacity. Even on the export front, the company is exploring markets beyond the traditional destinations of US and Europe. The focus regions include new markets in the Middle East, Brazil and Argentina apart from increasing exports to China where it as of now exports through Bangladesh. The company is targeting to become a US $ 1 billion turnover in the readymade textile segment by 2018. While witnessing a steady growth of 10 to 12 per cent every year and more than 30 per cent of revenue coming from the readymade segment, the group is buoyant about growth targets.
