The leading e-commerce retailer, Amazon Inc. has boosted its portfolio of exclusive brands by launching a new home decor label, named Ravenna Home that is offering stylish products at pocket-friendly price bracket.

Under the newly launched brand, Amazon is offering lighting, sofas, chairs, tables, benches, ottomans, headboards, and bar stools providing a wide range of over 130 items to the customers.

The US-based retail giant has collaborated with renowned designer Jonathan Adler to offer an affordable range of home furniture. The goods are placed under a price bracket that starts from as low as US $ 50 and goes up to US $ 850.

Notably, the price range has been comparatively low as compared to the other retailer in the country like Target Corp’s Project 62 and Threshold or Walmart-owned Mainstays and Pioneer Woman in the same segment.

According to a report by Coresight Research, the household furniture market in the US is highly divided, which might inspire shoppers to switch away from companies that choose to increase prices in response to tariffs because they have high exposure to China.

The report further suggested that those who source from China won’t find it as easy as apparel makers do to shift their manufacturing base. It also marked out that China accounted for 40 per cent of the whole global furniture market two years back.‘This will force furniture sellers to pass on cost increases to their consumers,’ the report said.
