Central Phuket is now home to Zara’s first tech-forward concept shop in Thailand after renovations. When the store first opened in 2011, it had a white, minimalist interior and had more than doubled in size, going from 840 square meters to almost 1700 square meters. It has technological solutions that let users combine platforms from physical and online stores.
Aiming to give clients a more expansive, inventive, and sustainable shopping experience, the brand is implementing its new concept globally.
In 2022, the Inditex-owned business debuted its first technologically sophisticated concept shop in Madrid, Spain, which it described as the “most advanced” store. Technology solutions that enable customers to browse the store of their choosing online, check stock levels, shop online, and pick up their purchases in as little as two hours are the main focus of the business concept.
Additionally, it encourages sustainability within the store by utilising “some of the most advanced environmental eco-efficient systems” and eco-friendly products. Zara has also launched this model with stores in the US, India, and Portugal.
