Zalando has named Laura Toledano Khelif as its new general manager for Western Europe. Along with her current duties for France, the UK, and Ireland, she will also be in charge of the Benelux markets in her new position. Khelif used LinkedIn to announce her appointment.
“I’m excited to develop and lead local strategies for all my markets as general manager for Western Europe, and to further strengthen relationships with customers, brands, and partners,” Khelif said.
Khelif has more than 15 years of management expertise in both digital and traditional multichannel retail. She worked in a variety of executive capacities for the French retailer Monoprix from July 2009 to February 2016. She was also the director of procurement and marketing at MSR, an online fashion and leisure store with multiple brands.
In September 2021, Khelif started working for Zalando as the general manager for France, the UK, and Ireland, a position she still holds today. She has also served on the board of La Retail Tech since July 2022. She has also been a lecturer in the Executive MSc program in Strategic Management for Fashion & Luxury at the Institut Français de la Mode from April 2023.
