Leading website of China which sells international fashion brand products Xiu.com, grew its sales by 80 per cent in the first quarter. George Ji, CEO, Xiu.com told, “We sell high-end fashion goods at lower price than Hong Kong. As Xiu.com opened branch offices in Europe and forged partnerships with foreign brands, we can sell luxury products at same price level or even lower than other overseas markets.”
China is the world’s biggest luxury goods market and will account for about 20 percent, US $ 27 billion, of global luxury sales in 2015. Last year, top three best-selling brands on Xiu.com are: Burberry, Calvin Klein, and Prada. “It indicates a huge room for China-based online cross-border shopping site to grow in the future because lower price and better local quality services will encourage Chinese consumers shop online. We enable consumers to shop international brand products at anytime from anywhere. For example, in 2014 our sales on mobile account for 60% of the sales. By offering a convenient way to shop, we keep Chinese consumers to do shopping within China,” Ji added.
