Global denim brand, Wrangler, has announced the launch of six new stores in India. With this launch, the company aims to reach customers beyond Tier-1 cities. Ujjain, Goa, Bilaspur, Indore, Katihar and Bareilly will now have their own exclusive Wrangler stores. These stores are accessible in both shopping malls and high-street locations. Each store spans over 1,000 sq.ft., offering buyers Wrangler’s popular denim products and accessories.
With these newer launches, Wrangler now has 58 exclusive brand stores across India at present. Notably, over 80 per cent of the retail stores are located outside of Tier-1 cities, aiming to reach the growing market in these regions. Nitin Chhabra, CEO of ace turtle, the exclusive licensee of Wrangler in India said that the company is seeing exceptional growth in customers in the emerging market.
Data from ace turtle which narrows down high-potential cities suggested remarkable growth in online demand over the past year from Ujjain, Indore, Goa, Bilaspur, Bareilly and Katihar. This growth in customers encouraged the company to open exclusive brand stores in these regions.
The new stores aim to enhance customer satisfaction by bringing together the ease of online shopping and engaging experience of physical retail store shopping. Wrangler plans to open over 60 new retail stores across India over the next year.
