West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo, who also plays for Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League and has a massive fan following in India, has announced the launch of his apparel brand ‘DJ Bravo 47’ in the country.
Singapore-based celebrity apparel company 3 Big Dogs is the co-owner of the ‘DJ Bravo 47’ apparel brand which will be managed by Cornerstone Sports in India. The company is taking care of marketing and distribution of the brand in the country.
“The apparel brand is very close to my heart and launch of the brand in India is an opportunity for me to feel more connected to my fans in the country”, said the fine all-rounder.
Initially, products such as T-shirts for men, women and kids will be available online in the price range of Rs. 1,900-2,200.
Later on, tracksuits, hats and accessories too will be on the list of product offerings, Luke Keech, MD, 3 Big Dogs was quoted as saying by ET.
Talks with large ecommerce platforms and a few organised retail players are underway for sale of products, added Keech.
Promotional events for the brand will be carried out by Bravo in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad. Bravo, targeting to sell 200,000 units annually in India.
The apparel DJ Bravo 47 is currently available in the US, Australia, South Africa and Caribbean markets.
