Vineet Mehta has joined lululemon as Vice President, India Tech Hub, where he will focus on expanding the company’s technology capabilities in India and strengthening its global technology delivery model.
Mehta joins lululemon from Telstra, where he served as Executive, Software Engineering & IT and was a board member of its India Data & AI joint venture.
As part of Telstra’s Global Capability Centre leadership team, he led product and technology teams in India and oversaw global technology portfolios.
He also managed commercial engagements and budgets exceeding US$70 million and led the company’s AI-first mindset strategy.
Before Telstra, Mehta spent over five years with Kmart Australia Limited, where he served as General Manager Technology, Site Leader and GCC Board Member.
Earlier, as Global Head of Data, Analytics & AI at Kmart Group, Mehta established the group’s data and AI capabilities and led initiatives across stores, digital, merchandising, marketing, sourcing, supply chain, inventory and finance.
He previously served as Director Technology at L Brands, where he established and led middleware, data and analytics teams at its Bengaluru capability centre. At Target, he held senior leadership roles, including Director – Enterprise Data, BI & Analytics.
Mehta brings 26 years of experience across technology, data, artificial intelligence and product, along with expertise in building global capability centres, scaling technology teams and aligning technology strategy with business priorities.
