Vince, the New York-based global luxury brand is all set to launch Vince Unfold, an online subscription service that will offer enhanced access to its women customers.
The initiative is the first apparel subscription service that is made available by a retail giant in the global market. Unfold is the fruit of Vince’s partnership with Caastle, a rental technology platform.
For a flat monthly fee, the consumers can access the brand’s womenswear pieces with the convenient choice of buying the items of their liking. In addition to that, the prices of the items will have a 20 to 60 percent mark down depending upon the novelty of each product.
The four-garment plan priced at US $ 160 a month by Vince Unfold will include services such as free priority shipping, complimentary laundering services and unlimited exchanges and returns. The customer has the liberty to cancel the plan anytime he feels necessary. The service functions via the website vinceunfold.com.
“Vince Unfold is an innovative new subscription service that will tap our existing product assortment to drive incremental revenue while further advancing awareness of the Vince brand,” said Brendan Hoffman, Chief Executive Officer of Vince. “We believe that subscription services will play a much greater role in consumer shopping patterns in the future and are excited to partner with Caastle to offer this service.”
Vince operates through 14 outlets, 45 full-price retail stores along with its e-commerce site, vince.com apart from its wholesale services.
