Lingerie stalwart Victoria’s Secret & Co. has merged its namesake brand as well as Pink lingerie operations and beauty segment into a single collaborative organisation.
The focus will be, reportedly, on growth and profits.
Meanwhile, the US lingerie retailer will also be laying off as many as 160 employees in management positions – as of Q3, this will save around US $ 40 million every year.
Amy Hauk, CEO, Pink, will be leading the integrated operation. Greg Unis, who led the beauty business since 2016, has been named Chief Growth Officer, while Christine Rupp will be the Chief Customer Officer.
Uniting the lingerie giant’s brands under Amy’s leadership will help bring greater focus and discipline to merchandising besides accelerating things up, said Martin Waters, CEO, Victoria’s Secret & Co.
Greg will be responsible for the new VS&Co-Lab platform, new business development and international expansion – in addition to exploring merger and acquisition opportunities.
Christine will looking into creating a seamless store and digital commerce business globally. She will also be responsible for sales and profitability across both channels.
Founded in 1977, Victoria’s Secret is an American lingerie, clothing and beauty retailer known for high visibility marketing and branding.
