
VF Corporation, a global leader in design, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of branded lifestyle apparel, footwear and accessories, has appointed Scott H. Baxter, who is also the Vice President of the company, as Group President of Outdoor & Action Sports Americas. He was previously the Group President of Jeanswear Americas, Imagewear & South America.
On Baxter’s appointment, Steven E. Rendle, President & Chief Operating Officer of VF Corporation says, “Scott is an effective, value-creating business leader who has achieved significant success during his nine years at VFC. He has a proven record of achievement in retail and wholesale channels, as well as measurable accomplishments in managing iconic brands and the organizations enabling them. The company has made some more organizational changes – Kevin Bailey, President, VF Action Sports and Vans, will now supervise VF activities in Central & South America, as well as the Outdoor & Action Sports businesses in Canada and Mexico; Phil McAdams, a 38-year veteran in VF’s Jeanswear business, will succeed Baxter as President of the Jeanswear Americas coalition; and Tom Waldron, who has been associated with the company for past 21 years, succeeds McAdams as President of the Wrangler brand, the company release mentions.
